RETURNS, REFUNDS & WARRANTY POLICY

INTRODUCTION

Plainview Energy Solutions Inc. (“Plainview“, “we”, “us”, or “our”) is committed to delivering quality LED lighting products and straightforward service to our customers. The procedures below help us resolve issues quickly while keeping prices competitive.


RETURNS & REFUNDS POLICY

1. General Guidelines

  • All returns require prior approval and a Return Material Authorisation (RMA) number issued by Plainview.
  • Initiate your return within 30 calendar days of receiving the item by emailing info@plainviewlighting.com.
  • Do NOT ship any goods before receiving an RMA; unauthorised shipments may be refused.
  • Returned items must be unused, uninstalled, with original tags, and in their original packaging.
  • Proof of purchase (invoice or receipt) is required.

2. Exceptions / Non‑Returnable Items

  • Custom or special‑order products, including personalised items.
  • Products that have been installed, energised, or show signs of wear or damage.
  • Sale items or gift cards.
  • Hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases.

3. Damages & Issues

Please inspect your order upon receipt. If the item is defective, damaged, or you receive the wrong item, contact us immediately so we can make it right.

4. Return Process

Email info@plainviewlighting.com with:

  • Original purchase order or invoice number
  • Part number(s) and quantity
  • Reason for return
  • Photos of the product and packaging (if applicable)

Once your return is approved, we will email you an RMA number, a return shipping label, and instructions for sending the package. Clearly mark the RMA number on all cartons. Items sent back to us without an RMA will not be accepted.

5. Refunds

After we receive and inspect your return (typically within 10 business days), we will notify you of the approval status. Approved refunds are processed to your original payment method. Your bank or credit‑card company may require additional time to post the credit.

6. Exchanges

The fastest way to obtain a replacement item is to complete the return process and place a new order once the return is accepted.


LIMITED WARRANTY POLICY

7. Coverage

Plainview warrants that its LED luminaires and accessories are free from defects in material and workmanship under normal use and service for the warranty period stated on the product’s specification sheet, commencing on the original invoice date.

8. Exclusive Remedy

During the warranty period, Plainview will, at its option, repair, replace, or issue credit for any Product proven defective. Replacement parts may be new or equivalent‑to‑new in performance and reliability.

9. Exclusions

  • Improper installation, wiring, or maintenance
  • Use with incompatible controls or power conditions
  • Misuse, abuse, accident, alteration, or negligence
  • Acts of God (e.g., lightning, flood, fire)
  • Failure to follow applicable electrical codes or Plainview instructions
  • Removal or defacement of original product labels

10. Warranty Claim Procedure

Email info@plainviewlighting.com with:

  • Original purchase order or invoice number
  • Part number(s) and quantity
  • Detailed description of the issue
  • Photos or video illustrating the defect

Our technical team may request additional information or troubleshooting steps. If product return is required, we will issue an RMA with shipping instructions. Upon evaluation, we will determine the appropriate remedy.

11. Limitations

  • Plainview’s liability is limited to the cost of the defective Product.
  • We are not liable for labour costs, loss of profits, or incidental or consequential damages.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, PLAINVIEW SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO PRODUCT USE, RETURNS, OR WARRANTY CLAIMS.
